Steel & Oak Brewing Co. is one of the leaders in the Vancouver Craft Brewery world. Since 2014 they have been crafting delicious and creative brews from their brewery tucked into the industrial area just west of the New West Quay. The owners are New West born and bred, and this wonderful brewery is a big part of the local community.
When they decided to expand their Tasting Room a few years back, they wanted to use reclaimed lumber that had been salvaged from a New West building. They contacted First Growth and we were able to locate some locally salvaged Douglas fir beams. We built one large bartop table, three smaller tables and two large benches.
